Michigan brand @A1ZA comes through with their exclusive Candy Cartel. A1ZA is an owner-operated brand and like their motto says, “Grown by Smokers for Smokers.” They’re against mass production and only cultivate 10 🔑 or less of each cultivar. Keeping everything small batch, hand trimmed and the pheno hunting in-house.
I had the honor of having them be part of my event this past Saturday at Level Up: A1. Candy Cartel consists of Sherb Pie Cream x Biscotti. Sherb Pie Cream is Ice Cream Cake x Sherb Bx1, while Biscotti is Motorbreath 15 x Gelato 41. The nose is LOUD, fruity, gassy and spicy all blended together. The aroma is definitely one of the highlights. I smell the Ice Cream and Biscotti overpowering the Sherb, giving it an amazing and unique nose. The palate translates with the nose, delivering creamy, sherby, sweet cookie dough kerosene with some earthy dank flavors behind it. The smoke experience held its own smooth yet pungent on the inhale and exhale 😮💨. The resin ring was leaking on this one. The effects were strong with a heavy cerebral high that lasted around 2 hours. The appeal expressed those Biscotti features with well-cultivated nugs. Overall, A1ZA brought the fuego with this Candy Cartel 🔥. The nose and palate translated, the effects and smoke experience were on point, and the appeal showed why Michigan continues to have a strong presence on the East Coast. Big shoutout to A1ZA for cultivating some fire and bringing out these exclusive genetics.
