Better Than Cheddar — Inherent Selections 🧀💨

New York 🗽 Long Islander Inherent Selections has been on the come up, and I recently had the chance to try his rendition of Better Than Cheddar a Cheddar Koi x Skunkdog Bx1, bred by Matchmaker Genetics 🧬.

Cheddar Koi is (Big Island Koi x ODB) x Purple Stardawg, while Skunkdog Bx1 consists of a backcross of Skunkdog x Purple Stardawg.

This unique cultivar reminds me of UK Cheese, but with even more dankness. The nose and flavor translate really well, delivering notes of sharp cheddar, savory funk, lime citrus, spice, and earthy flavors, with that lime-and-cheddar taste lingering on the palate after the smoke. It’s almost like smoking on lime-covered sharp cheddar with a spicy, earthy finish.

The effects gave me a medium-level cerebral and euphoric high, with the munchies definitely activated. I could see this working as a morning smoke or something you can enjoy throughout the day or night 💨.

The appeal showed traits of Chem, Kush, and Afghan, with mature pistils and nicely trimmed nugs. The smoke experience consisted of a pungent but soothing inhale and exhale. There was a little background noise in the smoke, but overall it was still an enjoyable sesh.

Overall, Better Than Cheddar really stands out because of its amazing nose and flavor. The appeal, effects, and overall smoke experience also made this cultivar memorable for me, and I definitely see the potential.
