Long Island’s Cloud Forest returns with their take on the ThCeazar-bred Sour D x Spritzer, known as Boogie Down Bronx. I’ve previously reviewed this cultivar by another New York grower, but Cloud Forest’s version stands out as one of my favorite crosses. It showcases the classic appeal of Sour Diesel, with a powerful, sour-skunk nose accented by sweet hints of spritzer. The unmistakable loud SD aroma is front and center.

On the palate, the flavors are vivid and layered, offering a mix of fruity, citrus, and earthy notes. The taste is intense, lingering during and after each session, with a particularly unique sour-sweet tobacco blend when smoked with a leaf. The inhale is smooth, with a soothing touch, while the exhale has a slight, pleasant bitterness.

The effects are medium-level, delivering a balanced cerebral and euphoric high with a pleasant body buzz. The high lasts around two hours, with noticeable effects kicking in after 5-6 pulls. Overall, Boogie Down Bronx proves to be one of Cloud Forest’s elite offerings, showcasing ThCeazar’s exceptional genetics. The standout qualities were the nose, palate, and visual appeal, with the smoke experience and effects also impressing.
