Semper Frosty – Chem D
Staten Island’s own Semper Frosty returns from a long hiatus with his take on the beloved Chem D. This cultivar is special from start to finish, delivering standout qualities in aroma, taste, appeal, and effects.
The aroma off the grind offers a powerful blend of diesel, gas, kerosene, and earthy notes—an unforgettable nose. It’s easy to see why Chem D is often referred to as the original Diesel. The effects are long-lasting, with a single 1.5g roll in Elements paper delivering a solid three hours or more. I also tried it in a Roll X Leaf 🍂 paper, and both experiences were superb.
The smoke is smooth on both inhale and exhale, with the flavor holding strong throughout the entire session. As someone with experience sampling many great Chem strains, I can confidently say this ranks among the best—especially from a New York cultivator.
The appeal is quintessentially “semper frosty,” with glistening trichomes and vibrant peach-colored pistils signaling maturity and freshness. The buds are sticky, showcasing the care and quality of the cultivation.
Overall, this was absolutely worth the wait. Semper Frosty proves that dedication and patience can lead to exceptional results. I can’t wait to see what’s next.
