Ghost 👻 OG – Josh D

OG Kush’s Josh D rendition of Ghost OG

Ghost OG — Josh D

Josh D, known as one of the pioneers in the history of OG Kush, comes through with another legendary variation of the Kush: Ghost OG. Ghost OG comes from the roots of OG Kush, with Afghani influence bringing that classic old-school Kush character. I had the chance to try this exclusive, assisted by the OG White Boy Kev, and the nose and effects were easily the biggest highlights.

The high was heavy, almost comatose, with euphoric and cerebral effects that had me feeling nice for hours. I even caught myself nodding off because of how potent she was. The nose 👃 hit with strong pine, gas, and diesel aromas. On the palate, it translated into slight citrus, spice, and earthy flavors. The flavor intensity was there early, but it only lasted about halfway through the sesh. The smoke experience started with a soothing inhale, but halfway through the sesh it became a little rougher and eventually finished somewhat tasteless. Personally, I’d probably smoke her in a leaf or tobacco instead of paper. The appeal definitely showed those classic Kush and Afghan characteristics. I did notice a couple of light, non-striped seeds in some of the nugs, which made me wonder if the plant may have hermed at some point.

Overall, Josh D’s rendition of Ghost OG delivers where it matters most: the nose and effects. The flavor is there, but it doesn’t hold its intensity throughout the entire sesh, and the overall smoke experience could be improved. Shoutout to White Boy Kev for letting me try this exclusive legendary cultivar. Big shoutout to Josh D and The Real OG Kush story family as well. I’m looking forward to trying the OG Kush next so I can compare it directly with the Ghost.
