Highitalian’s take on Sour D, Super Boof aka Blockberry & Cannoli

Reviews on Blockberry, Cannoli, Sour Diesel

Blockberry – Highitalian

Blockberry is one of the standout crosses from the Trop lineage, and Highitalian has been fine-tuning this one to perfection. Known for its impressive track record in competitions, Blockberry showcases a unique profile that sets it apart. This was my second time trying it, and it delivered once again.

The aroma features a blend of citrus, floral, and subtle fuel notes, making it both refreshing and intriguing. Paired with a Brothers Broadleaf, the flavor shifted to a rich mix of dark chocolate bitterness and tangy, earthy undertones. The effects hit just right, offering a balanced, medium-level cerebral lift, a euphoric buzz, and a relaxing body high. The high lasted about two hours, with a smooth and consistent inhale and exhale.

While Blockberry works well in papers, it truly shines when smoked with a leaf, offering a fuller and more robust experience. The buds were beautifully structured, with precise trimming that added to the overall appeal.

Blockberry delivers on all fronts: a memorable aroma, smooth effects, a great smoke experience, and a unique flavor profile. Big shoutout to Highitalian for another stellar offering!

Cannoli – 1.5 Sour D Piffcoast Sour & 0.3 Woody OG Rosin

The Cannoli from Highitalian remains one of the go-to items on his menu, and this one was no exception. This time, I got to try a blend of 1.5g Sour D from Piffcoast Farms paired with 0.3g Woody OG rosin, expertly rolled by @Sleepergtr.

The effects were the highlight, delivering a balanced cerebral buzz, a euphoric lift, and a soothing body calm. The high lasted around three hours, kicking in after about 6–8 pulls. The flavor profile combined sweet, earthy, and sour notes, leaving a satisfying aftertaste. The smoking experience was smooth from start to finish, making the session enjoyable and consistent.

My only suggestion would be to increase the rosin amount to 0.5g for an even more pronounced flavor and effects, but even as is, this Cannoli was a standout. If you’re into Sour D and OG profiles, this is a great option to explore.

Big thanks to Highitalian for letting me review this Cannoli!

Sour Diesel – Highitalian

Over the past year, I’ve had my fair share of Sour Diesel, and Highitalian presents their take on this classic. This particular Sour Diesel was cultivated over 80 days, using an old-school East Coast Sour cut from an unknown source. The visual appeal leaned toward darker hues, with the signature peach-colored pistils adding a striking touch. The aroma had subtle sour notes mixed with skunky undertones, complemented by earthy, citrusy flavors during the session.

The effects brought a cerebral and euphoric feel paired with a relaxing body calm. The flavor lingered nicely throughout, and the inhale/exhale was smooth and satisfying. For a first run, Highitalian delivered solid results with room for refinement. While it didn’t quite capture that bold, old-school aroma, it shone in the grind and smoke experience.

This is definitely something I’d revisit regularly, and I’m excited to see how Highitalian dials it in further for future runs.
