Inspiration Seeds Co’s Sour
One of top-tier cultivators, Inspiration Seeds Co., returns with their take on the classic Sour cultivar. This marks the early phase of a Sour backcross (bx) project, featuring Inspiration Sour #1 (Sour Diesel x Blue Ribbon [Chem4 x Deadhead OG]) grown in living soil.
This cultivar is stunning frosty trichomes, vibrant, money green leaves, and peach-colored pistils. The structure leans heavily toward the Sour lineage, with subtle Blue Ribbon influences adding character.
The scent profile carries skunky, fuel-like, and slightly floral notes that intensify upon grinding. Initially, the aroma wasn’t as overpowering, but after some time stored properly, it became much louder. The flavor is a standout, delivering an earthy, musky, sour-forward experience with zesty, spicy undertones that linger well after each session.
The smoke is smooth yet bold, delivering a rich, pungent inhale and exhale. The effects hit hard, chest-warming sensation, deep relaxation, euphoric uplift, and soothing body effects. After 6-7 pulls, the high became fully immersive, lasting a solid three hours.
Inspiration Seeds co Sour x Blue Ribbon has everything flavor, effects, and looks. The aroma could be more pronounced initially, but over time, it developed beautifully. Inspiration Seeds is still refining this project, expanding on the Sour bx line with Blue Ribbon and other selections. There is huge potential, and I am excited to see what’s next from this combination of Sour, OG, and Chem genetics.
