Kelp – Maine Trees

Maine Trees’s Rendition On Umami’s Zoda Bx1

Maine Trees 🌲 — Kelp

From the Pine Tree State, Maine Trees returns with another exclusive , Kelp. The name and genetics alone had me intrigued. Maine leads the U.S. in seaweed farming, harvesting kelp straight from its coastal waters, so this drop really represents the state from top to bottom.
From their award-winning Blue Lobster 🦞 to Kelp, Maine Trees continues to showcase unique genetics while solidifying their reputation in the game.

Genetics:

Kelp is a cross of London Jelly Zoda × Zoda (Zoda BX1), bred by Umami Genetics

  • London Jelly Zoda = Pancakes × Jealousy
  • Zoda = Z × Açaí Gelato

Nose 👃 is one of the main highlights ,grape cabernet, berry, vanilla spice, and fuel, and it translates cleanly to the palate. Flavor intensity stays consistent throughout the entire sesh.

Smoke Experience 😮‍💨 starts smooth and soothing, then turns pungent on the exhale.

Effects deliver a pleasant, euphoric, cerebral high, eyes low, perfect for a night smoke 💨.

Appeal shows off crystallized trichomes with well-trimmed, properly sized nugs and some smalls mixed in.

Overall, Kelp checks all the boxes. The nose and effects stood out the most, while the smoke experience stayed clean and enjoyable. Big shoutout to Maine Trees for their consistency, quality, and congrats on earning Leafly Strain of the Year honors.
