Duel Review ⚔️ @upthehillCA – Zith vs @Preferredgarden – MLZ
Nose 👃 The Z most definitely takes this round. It’s hard to compete with that infamous Z nose. The Zith brings a loud gassy, fuel-forward aroma blended with classic Z sweetness. MLZ still delivers, but the Z terp profile edges it out here.
Palate 👅 Both are delicious and honestly both land right in my preference zone. MLZ shines with fruity, limonene-forward, musky flavors that coat the palate. Zith counters with a unique spicy, herbal dough funk crossed with Z’s signature sweet terps. Tie game, different lanes, both elite.
Effects 🧠
Zith clearly overpowers in this category. Heavy, potent cerebral euphoria followed by that couch/ chest locking effect. The high stretched close to 3 hours for me. MLZ held its own, true Zkittles energy, with a medium-level cerebral high, slight couch lock, and strong munchie activation, lasting around 2 hours.
Appeal 👀
Zith stands out with well-sized, beautifully trimmed nugs and trichomes shining heavy, especially fresh on the breakdown. MLZ also has solid beauty, especially for a mixed-light cultivar.
Smoke 💨 Experience
Both delivered an excellent smoke. Mouth-coating, resin-ring forming, smooth and soothing on both inhale and exhale. Zith leaned more pungent, while MLZ stayed softer and more consistently mouth-coating throughout the sesh. Lingering flavor on both, nice ash stack, clean color for my white ash lovers 🤍.
Overall 🏆 Straight championship smoke from start to finish, nose, flavor, smoke experience, effects, and appeal all hitting. I’d cop both again without hesitation. If I had to choose one, Zith takes it for overall quality. That said, MLZ is absolutely a winner, especially considering it’s mixed-light.
