Back with another review of one of the most legendary and beloved cultivars of all time—Sour Diesel. This time, I got my hands on PotSnobs’ take on the offsprings of the infamous Rez Cut, straight from New York. “RiRi,” Sour Diesel this one hits with that unmistakable skunk and fuel aroma.

Visually, it’s on point, showcasing those signature leafy, Sativa-dominant Sour D traits. Breaking it down, it was fresh, with that sought-after old-school Sour Diesel nose that connoisseurs are always chasing. As soon as you open the jar, a bold mix of musky skunk, pine, and gas fills the air—definitely one of its standout qualities.

Flavor-wise, the profile delivers—sour, earthy, spicy, with a lingering Chem-like finish. The intensity is undeniable, perfectly matching the nose. The effects are just as impressive, bringing on a strong cerebral buzz, euphoria, and a deep body relaxation. The high lasted around three hours, keeping me energized and alert long into the night. It’s the kind of experience I genuinely enjoy.

The smoke starts off smooth but develops a slightly bitter edge toward the end. Even so, RiRi holds its own. The aroma and flavor come through strong, the effects are spot-on, and the visual appeal is top-tier. This is a Sour I could enjoy daily. Grown for 77+ days, it still maintains an incredible nose—true craftsmanship from PotSnobs.

Big respect to PotSnobs for cultivating this legend and to Talk of the Town for blessing me with some of his personal stash—so good I had to go back for more. If you’re searching for that real Sour experience, this might be one of the best and closest to the classic cut.
