Black Patronus – SkyHofers
Black Patronus, cultivated by NY’s SkyHofers, is a unique blend of RS11 x Falcon 9. This cultivar was featured as SkyHofers’ entry to the NY Growers Cup, showcasing impressive craftsmanship. Its structure leans RS-dominant, with distinct OG characteristics. Falcon 9 is derived from Sunset Sherb x Tina, while Tina combines Triple OG (Master Yoda x Constantine x TK) with Constantine (The Cube x Orange Valley OG). RS11 is a mix of Pink Guava (OZK pheno) x Sunset Sherb.
The buds display vibrant orange pistils, crystal-like trichomes, and a well-manicured appearance. The aroma carries notes of sweet Sherb gelato mixed with musky, gassy, and slightly floral undertones, complemented by OG richness. On the palate, it delivers a sweet floral and OG profile with hints of pink guava, creating a smooth and flavorful experience.
The effects are balanced, offering a medium-level cerebral uplift with a euphoric and relaxing body sensation. The smoking experience is smooth, with mild intensity on the inhale and exhale, making it enjoyable. The flavor held steady throughout, with the effects lasting approximately 2.5 hours from a 1.4g roll using elements paper.
SkyHofers made a strong impression with Black Patronus, showcasing a cultivar that excels in appearance, aroma, flavor, and effects. Looking forward to seeing more from their craft in the future.
