Tahití Twist by TK OGK
TK OGK been putting in work since ’91, one of the OGs behind the creation of Triangle Kush. I had the honor of meeting him through another legend in the game White Boy Kev, one of the original growers behind Black Haze.
Out of his Origin Selects lineup, cultivated in Florida, Tahití Twist straight snatched my nose on the first whiff. It’s a cross of Tahiti Lime and Lemon Royale. I’ve had Lemon Royale before, so I already expected that loud limonene, some gas, and that spicy kick from the caryophyllene. Tahiti Lime, which is a Dosidos x Zkittlez cross bred by Archive, brings that citrus-forward vibe like a fruitier, more tropical Lemon Tree with an OG lime finish.
The nose is crazy punches out with heavy lemon-lime terps, and you can really pick up that Zkittlez and GMO funk in the background from the Lemon Royale side. Smoking it was an experience super smooth inhale and exhale, lemon gas coating the lungs, but still mellow enough to enjoy without it wrecking your chest.
Effects had me coasting for a solid 3 hours, clear focus, euphoric uplift, cerebral push with a decent body buzz. Visually, it had a clean trim and looked more Lemon Royale leaning, but the smell screamed Tahiti Lime. Overall, this was easily one of my favorite drops this year. The nose, the flavor, the look, it all matched up with the effects. Straight heat.
