Sour Oranges is a proper connection between the infamous 90s Sour Diesel cut and the mysterious Cali O, bred by CSI Humboldt and cultivated by Tahoe Flower Co. Hailing out of Chi-Town, this run was grown in organic topsoil with clay, taken a full 12 weeks under HPS/MH lighting using 600w magnetic ballasts instead of the usual 1000w digitals, old-school approach with New school style done right. The appeal showcases a blend of Sour with slight Afghan/OG influence. Voluptuous, dense nugs with a clear hand-trimmed finish. Structure is on point and true to the genetics. The nose hit me with Piff vibes right off the bat. Going back in, it opened up into sour haze with bright orange citrus notes. That aroma translates straight to the palate , limonene-driven sour citrus up front, backed by musky myrcene, earthy undertones, and a spicy caryophyllene finish. The Effects are one of the main highlights here. The Long lasting, active, racy effects that can ride for a few hours. very functional but powerful, the kind of high Sour lovers appreciate. The smoke experience delivered a soothing yet pungent inhale and exhale 😮‍💨, staying flavorful throughout the sesh. Overall, Sour Oranges definitely took me by surprise. As a long-time Sour fan, I remember Cali O on its own, and you can really see how it makes its presence known in this cross. Everything connects, nose, flavors, and effects  making this a standout.
