GG4 – Piffington Farms/White Boy Kev
GG4 is one of those timeless strains that, when cultivated just right, can make a serious impact. I say that because back in the day, it even replaced Sour in the Heights. But this GG4? Brought me back. It’s on a whole different level. Piffington Farms, aka Mr. Myagi, grew this beauty right here in the city using an 11-week coco method. The bag appeal brings out strong Chem traits, reminiscent of the old-school GG4 I am used to. White Boy Kev has always had a sharp eye for top-tier selections, from classic Black Haze to this GG4, and previously Sour, solidifying some real staples in the WBK & Myagi collaboration.
GG4 is a powerhouse cross: Chem’s Sister (Chemdawg pheno) x Chocolate Diesel (Sour Diesel x Chocolate Trip) x Sour Dubb (Sour Bubble x NYC Diesel). The aroma is a strong mix of rubber and fuel, with pinene and caryophyllene adding a spicy kick. The flavor profile is earthy with distinct chem/diesel undertones. The effects hit hard—intense, cerebral, euphoric, and with a deeply relaxing body high. The buzz lasts for about 3 hours or more from a 1.2g roll in Elements paper, with the onset noticeable after just 4-5 pulls. The smoking experience delivers a bold, pungent flavor with a heavy inhale and exhale.
Overall, this GG4 took me straight back to the 2008-09 era when GG4 was dominating the scene. Myagi did an outstanding job nailing the aroma, flavor, effects, and overall appeal. Big shoutout to Piffington Farms for this exclusive old-school strain.
