TK x 518 Sour – Seven Leaf x Headstash
Haze N Daze/Headstash is a rising brand out of NYC, known for curating exclusive, unique flowers and flavors. One standout example is their rendition of an OG Sour blend created by one of my favorite cultivators, Seven Leaf. This features a White Rabbit-bred cut: Triangle K x 518 Sour.
The TK x 518 Sour perfectly combines the best of both strains. I’ve experienced TK on its own but never had the chance to try the 518 Sour before. For context, the 518 Sour—also bred by White Rabbit—comes from Albany Cut Sour x Top Dawg bx3. The flower leans into TK-dominant characteristics in appearance while delivering the dank, chem-heavy, skunky aroma of Sour.
The structure was tight and expertly trimmed, with dense, fresh nugs that ground down beautifully. The flavor fully mirrored its aroma, offering gassy, earthy notes balanced with hints of limonene and a pungent, fuel-like aftertaste. Smoking it was an equally rich experience. The inhale and exhale provided a smooth, robust profile with a chest-warming sensation.
I tried both paper and leaf smoking methods to compare. In paper, the flower’s true flavors shone without interference, while the leaf brought a unique dimension that complemented the TK Sour blend.
The effects were strong yet balanced, delivering an intense cerebral uplift with a euphoric and calming body high. The high lasted about three hours, leaving me feeling creative and relaxed with an overall positive vibe. This could easily become an everyday go-to due to its effects, aroma, and flavor.
Overall, Headstash curated an outstanding flower here. Big thanks to Haze N Daze/Headstash for the opportunity to review this Seven Leaf Farms grown, White Rabbit breeder cut. It’s a remarkable take on an OG Sour, showcasing the excellence of New York cultivators working with NY breeders.
